Welcome to the King's Academy Meadow Vale PTA
Comprising parents and carers, the PTA organises events to fundraise for the school. Our primary goal is to gather funds for resources and equipment that enrich our children's education.
Last year, the PTA successfully raised over £5,000 through various events, including fireworks, Christmas cards, movie nights, discos, and a summer fair. The success of these events was made possible by the fantastic support of our parent community, who contributed their time and presence. We are continually seeking new members who can bring fresh ideas or assist at our events. Participation in the PTA is not limited to committee members; anyone can offer help or attend meetings. It's an excellent opportunity to meet others, particularly for families new to the school.
The PTA plays a vital role in raising funds for the school, aiding in the purchase of items like scooters to use at lunchtime and supporting seasonal activities, such as the whole school's Christmas pantomime. We also contribute to teachers' requests for resources needed for after-school clubs.
